Being a Good German, whilst born a Yorkshire man offers many challenges. But both Jules and Simon have a love of electronic music both German and from other cultures, as well as a diverse interest in bands, singers and musicians of a slightly off kilter style.
Our ideal band would consist of Kylie Minogue and Kraftwerk or the Wurzels playing Der Plan. Anyway you get the idea, basically anything goes, whether its instrumentation or subject content.
Secondly Good German music must be easy to play, as a a gig should not be spoilt by worrying how many pints you have had. Basically keyboards are not our primary instruments, but they take you out of your comfort zone and that can be fun.
We do not wear lederhosen, we are are not fascists, some of our songs do have historical themes, but many do not.
